Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pres ridge extending SW over the Gulf will
slowly move E tonight. Fresh to locally strong N to NE winds
this morning E of 85W will persist until mid morning. A strong 
cold front will enter the NW Gulf this afternoon, reach from the 
Florida panhandle to near 26N91W and to just N of Tampico this 
evening, then move SE of the area early on Wed. Gale force N winds
are expected near Tampico and Veracruz tonight and Wed, and 
frequent gusts to gale force are expected over the NW waters today 
and tonight. Strong high pres following in the wake of the front 
will shift E through Fri. Yet another cold front is due to arrive 
Mon.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N68W to 28N70W, then 
continues as a stationary front to eastern Cuba near 21N77W. 
Strong N to NE winds W of the front and S of 28N will gradually 
diminish today as the front weakens. A strong cold front will move
off the SE United States coast on Wed, then weaken as it reaches 
from near 24N65W to the Windward Passage by Fri morning. Strong 
high pres in the wake of the front will bring strong N to NE winds
and building seas NE of the Bahamas. These conditions will 
diminish Thu night through Fri night. 

.TODAY...NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft in N to NE swell. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft. 
.WED...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NW to N 15 to
20 kt N of 27N. Seas 4 to 6 ft.
