Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front will enter the NW waters this 
evening, rapidly shifting across the basin through Fri night. Gale
force winds are possible W of the front in the western Gulf 
tonight through Fri. A reinforcing front will move through the 
eastern Gulf Sat. High pres will build in the wake of the fronts 
for the remainder of the weekend into early next week. 

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
4 to 6 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the Florida peninsula will 
drift NW today as high pres builds in from the NE. A cold front 
will move off the E coast of Florida Fri night, with a reinforcing
front moving across the waters W of 70W through Sun night. The 
front will weaken and dissipate E of 70W early next week.

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE 15 to 20 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 6 to 8 ft N of 27N.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Areas of dense fog
with visibilities 1 nm or less in the morning.
