Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface trough persists from near 26N96W to
19N94.5W. Otherwise, high pressure with fresh to strong NE winds
prevail over the remainder of the basin. Reinforcing cold air
will reintroduce gale force winds W of the trough across the
waters from Tampico to Veracruz tonight through Wed. Winds and
seas will diminish Thu through Sat as strong high pres over the
United States slides eastward.

.WED...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front from 28N65W through the N
Bahamas and Andros Island to low pres near 24N81W 1015 mb to W
central  Cuba will drift slowly SE and stall overnight. The low
will  move slowly N-NE overnight then begin to accelerate and
deepen  rapidly Wed through Wed night with gale to storm force
winds  developing W and SW of the low. Strong to near gale force
NW winds will dominate much of the waters W of 70W through Thu
as the low  deepens across the NW Atlc. High pres and NW swell
will dominate  the region through the weekend.

.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to SE to
S 15 to 20 kt late. N of 27N, NE to E winds 25 to 35 kt. Seas
5 to 7 ft S of 27N, and 8 to 13 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers
with possible freezing rain and thunderstorms. 
.WED...S of 27N, SW winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming W 20 to 30 kt in
the afternoon. N of 27N, E winds 25 to 30 kt, shifting to S to SW
in the afternoon, then, shifting to W to NW 25 to 35 kt. Seas
4 to 6 ft S of 27N, and 8 to 11 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers
with possible freezing rain and thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 25 to
