Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Gales are gradually diminishing along the coast of
southern Mexico near Veracruz. Otherwise, fresh to strong NE
winds prevail over the remainder of the basin. Reinforcing cold
air will reintroduce gale force winds to the waters near Tampico
and Veracruz on Wed. Winds and seas will diminish Thu through
Sat as strong high pres over the United States slides eastward.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front from 31N60W through the N
Bahamas and Andros Island to developing low pres near 24.5N80W
1016 mb to W central Cuba will drift slowly SE and stall this
evening. The  low will deepen rapidly and move quickly to the NE
Wed through Wed night with gale to storm force winds developing
W and SW of the low. Strong to near gale force NW winds will
dominate much of the waters W of 70W through Thu as the low
deepens across the NW Atlc. High pres and NW swell will dominate
the region through the weekend.
