Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Gales will linger this morning along the coast of
southern Mexico near Veracruz. Otherwise, fresh to strong NE
winds prevail over the remainder of the basin. Reinforcing cold
air will reintroduce gale force winds to the waters near Tampico
and Veracruz on Wed. Winds and seas will diminish Thu through
Sat as strong high pres over the United States slides eastward.

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft. 
.WED...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Scattered

.WED NIGHT...NW to N winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 6 to 8 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...A strong cold front from 31N64W through the Bahamas 
near 26N78W to NW Cuba near 23N81W will slowly push SE and stall
 this evening as an area of low pressure develops along the
front  near the Bahamas. The low will deepen rapidly and take
off quickly to the NE. Gales are likely for much of the waters N
of 27N Wed  afternoon through Thu afternoon.

.TODAY...N winds 20 to 25 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 25 to 35 kt N
of 27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in N to NE swell. 
.TONIGHT...S of 27N,NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt, shifting to SE to
S 15 to 20 kt late. N of 27N,NE to E winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas
7 to 10 ft in N swell. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED...S of 27N, SW to W winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming W to NW
25 to 30 kt late in the afternoon. N of 27N,E winds 20 to 25 kt,
shifting to S 25 to 30 kt early in the afternoon, then, shifting
to W to NW 30 to 35 kt late in the afternoon. Seas 6 to 9 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.WED NIGHT...NW winds 20 to 30 kt S of 27N, and W to NW 25 to
35 kt N of 27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft in NE swell. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
