Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Broad high pressure will prevail across most of the
basin through Fri, while a broad NW to SE aligned trough from
near 22N96W to E Bay of Campeche sinks slowly S and dissipates.
A cold front will move into the NW waters late Sat afternoon and
reach from near Tampa Bay to W Bay of Campeche Sun evening, with
strong northerly flow behind front.

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front from 31N69W to near 26N80W will move
slowly SE and become stationary from near 28N65W to central
through the end of the week. An elongated surface trough from E
Cuba NE to beyond 26N65W and into central Atlc will shift slowly
E  through Fri. A surface low will develop along the trough and 
deepen NE of the area Thu through Fri as the front gradually 
merges with trough N of 28N. 

.TODAY...N to NE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 6 to 9 ft, subsiding to 3 to 5 ft late in the 
afternoon. Chance of showers. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.THU...N to NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
