Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge dominates the gulf region and will
shift NE through Fri. Fresh return flow will begin over the NW
Gulf early Fri, ahead of the next cold front, expected to move
into the NW Gulf early Fri afternoon, then reach from the
western Florida Panhandle to the W Bay of Campeche by early Sat
afternoon. High pressure behind front will support another round
of strong Nly winds across much of the basin, with gale force
winds expected across the west-central and SW Gulf on Sat.  

.OVERNIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.FRI...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. 
.FRI NIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Numerous
showers. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
thunderstorms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front extends from 31N68W through the S
central Bahamas just SE of Crooked Island to E Cuba near 20N76W.
The  front will move slowly SE overnight, and stall and begin to
 weaken on Fri from 31N65W to eastern Cuba. Another front will 
move off the coast of Florida by early Sun and continue SE 
through Mon afternoon, reaching from near Bermuda to E Cuba. Low
 pressure across the NW Caribbean Sat will move NNE across W 
Cuba late Sat, and across the Straits of Florida and NW Bahamas
Sat night through Sun, along or just ahead of the front, and 
produce strong to near gale force winds along its path.

.OVERNIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. 
.FRI...NE to E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and NE to E 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of
27N. 
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of
27N. Slight chance of showers.
