Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Nate is centered near 28.4N 89.1W at
07/2100 UTC moving NNW at 20 kt. Maximum sustained winds are
80 kt with gusts 100 kt. Estimated minimum central pressure is
981 mb. Nate will move inland late tonight near 30.8N 89.W, with
maximum sustained winds 75 kt with gusts 90 kt. Winds and seas
will over the N Central NE waters will diminish Sunday as the
western extension of Atlantic high pressure begins to build
westward across the northern waters into next week.  

.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 5 to 7 ft. Numerous
showers and scattered thunderstorms. 
.SUN...S winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Scattered showers and

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure is over the northern waters while a 
trough is along 69W S of 28N. The trough will slowly move
towards the Bahamas through early next week while weakening.
High  pressure will then become reestablished over the entire
area by  Mon. Another trough will move from E to W across the
area Tuesday night through Thursday night preceded by fresh to
possibly strong NE to E winds N of 25N.
