Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will push S over the northern Gulf
waters tonight. The front will stall from near Tampa Bay to the
far W Gulf by Fri evening, then gradually dissipate during the
upcoming weekend as strengthening high pressure builds S across
the northern Gulf waters. The associated gradient will increase
the NE to E winds across the northern Gulf waters E of 90W Sun
into Mon. A thermal trough will develop each evening over the NW
Yucatan Peninsula, move W overnight, and dissipate over the SW
Gulf waters by late each morning.  

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak cold front will move into the northern waters
 on Friday, then stall from near 31N65W to the NW Bahamas on 
Sat, with a surface low developing along the front near 28N80W. 
The low will move NE along the weakening front to N of the area
on Sat night and into Sun. Strong high pressure will build S
over  the NW waters behind the stalled and weakening front. The 
associated tight pressure gradient is expected to bring strong
to  near gale force NE winds across the NW waters Sat through
Mon  night.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE less
than 5 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered thunderstorms. 
.FRI...SE to S winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms.
