Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A thermal trough will develop each evening over the
NW Yucatan Peninsula, move into the SW Gulf overnight where it
will dissipate each morning. High pressure will prevail over the
northern waters through Thursday. A cold front will move across
the northern and western Gulf waters on Thursday.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Maria centered at 29.4N 73.0W 941 mb at 5 
PM EDT moving N or 350 degrees at 8 kt. Maximum sustained winds 
are 90 kt with gusts to 110 kt. Maria is forecast to reach near 
30.3N 73.2W at 2 AM EDT Mon, weaken to 85 kt gusts 105 kt near 
31.4N 73.4W at 2 PM EDT Mon, and continue to weaken while moving
 further from the area near 32.5N 73.5W at 2 AM EDT Tue. A
trough  will extend SW from the N-central waters to the Central
Bahamas  in the wake of Maria through Wednesday night, and
become diffuse  on Thursday as high pressure builds westward
across the eastern  portion of the area.

of 27N. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 9 to 14 ft N of 27N.
