Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge across the northern Gulf will maintain
gentle to moderate E to SE winds and seas 4 ft or less outside
the Bay of Campeche through the middle of next week. A thermal
trough will develop each day over the Yucatan, then move across
the SW Gulf each night. The troughs will cause winds and seas to 
build before they dissipate each morning.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave will pass to the NE of the Leeward 
Islands today and to the W of Puerto Rico tonight. A ridge will 
prevail over the northern waters through Monday, lifting N
Tuesday and Wednesday as the tropical wave moves across the
basin. High pressure will build back across the area Thursday. 

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
