Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front has moved SE of the basin this morning. In the wake
for the front, fresh to strong winds and large seas will
gradually diminish into the weekend. High pressure will build in
and prevail into the middle of next week. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A cold front stretches from eastern Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras.
By Saturday morning, this front will reach from the Windward
Passage to the northern coast of Honduras. The front will then
stall from Hispaniola to near the Honduras Nicaragua border.
Fresh to strong winds will follow the front, persisting in the 
Lee of Cuba and across the approach to the Windward Passage 
through the weekend. High pressure in the Atlantic will support 
fresh to strong trade winds in the south-central Caribbean 
through early next week, with the highest winds near the Colombia
coast.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front from 31N68W across the SE Bahamas to central Cuba 
will reach from Bermuda to the Turks and Caicos and in the
Windward Passage by early Sat. This front will stall later in 
the weekend over the SE waters and across Hispaniola. Fresh to 
strong NW to N winds and building seas are expected in 
association with the cold front. High pressure will settle across
the region early next week with more tranquil marine conditions 
forecast.
