Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure has spread across the Gulf of Mexico in the wake
of a cold front that has reached the NW Caribbean this morning.
Moderate to strong N to NW winds across the E Gulf will quickly
diminish and conditions across the Gulf will be quiescent from
Sat through Mon. SE to S winds ahead of the next cold front in
the W Gulf will become moderate to strong on Tue. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

This morning a strong cold front extends across central Cuba to
the Gulf of Honduras near 15N89W. The front will reach from E
Cuba to Nicaragua Sat afternoon, stall on Sun, and weaken by
Mon. Fresh to strong N winds and building seas are expected
across the NW Caribbean today and Sat before weakening on Sat
night. Moderate N swell impacting the tropical N Atlantic waters
will slowly diminish by Sun. Quiescent conditions are expected
across the Caribbean and Tropical N Atlantic waters Mon and Tue.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A strong cold front extends from 31N74W to central Cuba.
Near-gale to gale NW winds are occurring north of 28N west  of
the front this morning, before relaxing some this afternoon. 
Strong to near-gale S winds are occurring east of the front,
also  north of 28N. The front will reach from 31N65W to E Cuba
Sat  afternoon, becoming stationary on Sun, and weakening on
Mon. A  building Bermuda high late Mon through at least Tue
night will  increase E to NE winds with building seas.
