Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure across the basin will shift eastward today ahead of
a strong cold front. the front will enter the NW Gulf early Thu,
with widespread gale-force winds expected northwest of the front
as it races southward across the basin through early Fri. Seas 
will build in excess of 10 ft behind the front on Thu. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

NE winds will pulse to near gale-force at night near the coast
of Colombia through Thu morning. A strong cold front pushing
through the Gulf of Mexico will reach the Yucatan Channel Thu
night, extend from eastern Cuba to northern Honduras on Fri,
then stall and weaken from Haiti to Costa Rica on Sat. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front extending from 31N60W to the Bahamas will stall and
weaken from 26N65W to the southern Bahamas today. A strong cold 
front will move east of Florida Thu night. Strong southerly winds
to gale-force are expected ahead of the front, shifting quickly 
to west then northwest on Fri as the front moves eastward. Seas 
will rapidly build in the western Atlantic as the front passes. 
The front will extend from 31N76W to northern Cuba early Fri, 
from 31N69W to eastern Cuba Fri night, and from 28N65W to the 
Windward Passage on Sat.
