A cold front extends from the Florida Straits to the NW coast of Cuba. The front will exit the Gulf this evening with high pressure building across the basin. Moderate to fresh northerly flow will gradually shift E to SE into Tue as high pressure drifts eastward. Southerly flow returns into Wed before the next strong cold front enters the basin and brings possible gale force winds into the SW Gulf. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Cold front in the southeast Gulf will enter the NW Caribbean this evening enhancing fresh to strong northerly winds along the Yucatan Channel. The front will weaken into Tue with easterly trades returning across the NW Caribbean. Highest winds and seas will continue to be in the southern Caribbean, near the coast of Colombia, pulsing at nighttime through the forecast period. A strong cold front will slide southward into the NW Caribbean by the end of the week enhancing winds and seas. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A cold front extends from the Florida Straits to the NW coast of Cuba. The cold front will move off the Florida coast reach the southern Bahamas and southern Cuba by Tue, and continue moving eastward on Wed.
