Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure will shift eastward today. A cold front will move
into the NW Gulf tonight, reach from the central Gulf Coast to
the western Bay of Campeche on Sun, and from southwest Florida
to the Yucatan peninsula on Mon. The cold front will exit the
basin by Mon night. Moderate to fresh SE winds are expected in
the NW Gulf ahead of a strong cold front approaching the region
on Thu. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A stationary front across the NW Caribbean will gradually
dissipate through tonight. High pressure north of the area will
support fresh NE trade winds across much of the area through
Wed. Highest winds and seas will continue to be in the southern
Caribbean, near the coast of Colombia, through Wed. A cold front
will slide southward into the NW Caribbean Tue and will stall
across the region by Wed.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front extends from 31N54W across the southern Bahamas to
central Cuba. The tail end of the front is expected  to slowly
dissipate on Sun with the cold front continuing to push eastward
and dissipate by Mon. Another cold front will move off  the
Florida coast on Mon, reach the southern Bahamas and southern
Cuba by Tue, and continue moving eastward on Wed.
