A cold front extends from near Siesta Key, Florida to the central Bay of Campeche near 18N93.5W. Northerly gales behind the front off Veracruz, Mexico have diminished below gale force tonight. Winds and seas will diminish steadily on Tue as the front stalls and starts to dissipate from SW Florida to the eastern Bay of Campeche. Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf Tue night and cross the basin by Thu, and will bring brief gales offshore Veracruz Wed. Winds and seas diminish through Fri as high pressure builds across the northern Gulf in the wake of the second front. A third front will move into the northwest Gulf by Sat night. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Weakening high pressure north of the area is supporting modest winds and seas across the basin currently. By Wed, high pressure will begin to re-strengthen to the north, and tradewinds offshore of Colombia will begin to pulse to strong each night, and then to near gale force Fri and Sat nights. A weakening cold front will move slowly SE across the Yucatan Channel and western Cuba Thu night through Fri before dissipating. A cold front extends from 31N78W to North Florida near 29.5N81W tonight and will sweep eastward across the waters north of 27N through Wed.
