The front will stall and start to dissipate from near Tampa Bay, Florida to the south central Gulf Tue. Another cold front will move into the NW Gulf Tue night and cross the basin by Thu. This front will bring brief gales offshore Veracruz on Wed, as it sweeps to the southeast of the basin by late Thu. Winds and seas diminish through Fri as high pressure builds across the northern Gulf in the wake of the second front.
