Troughing across the western Caribbean extending from Yucatan Peninsula to near 12N79W is producing scattered showers and thunderstorms east of the trough axis. The trough will drift westward over the next couple of days, enhancing shower and thunderstorm activity in the western Caribbean. Winds and seas are expected to increase east of the Windward Islands on Sat due to a tropical wave.
