Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine was located near 14.6N 59.4W 
1007 mb at 11 PM EDT moving WNW at 22 kt. Maximum sustained winds
35 kt gusts 45 kt. Nine will move to 15.7N 62.3W this morning, 
while likely becoming a tropical storm. Elsewhere, surface 
ridging will dominate the Gulf waters through Fri supporting 
mainly gentle to moderate return flow. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine was located near 14.6N 59.4W 
1007 mb at 11 PM EDT moving WNW at 22 kt. Maximum sustained winds
35 kt gusts 45 kt. Nine will move to 15.7N 62.3W this morning, 
17.4N 65.9W this evening, inland to 18.7N 69.3W Thu morning, 
20.1N 72.6W Thu evening, 21.5N 75.5W Fri morning, and 22.8N 77.7W
Fri evening. Elsewhere, Fresh to strong NE winds are expected 
tonight through Thu night across the Windward Passage and Cuba 
adjacent waters. Fresh trade winds will prevail over Colombia 
adjacent waters and in the Gulf of Honduras through tonight. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine was located near 14.6N 59.4W 
1007 mb at 11 PM EDT moving WNW at 22 kt. Maximum sustained winds
35 kt gusts 45 kt. Nine will move to 15.7N 62.3W this morning, 
17.4N 65.9W this evening, inland to 18.7N 69.3W Thu morning, 
20.1N 72.6W Thu evening, 21.5N 75.5W Fri morning, and 22.8N 77.7W
Fri evening. Heavy showers and tstms are expected the affect the
Bahamas, Turk and Caicos, and the Greater Antilles adjacent 
waters through Sat.
