Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A weak low pressure area over the NW Gulf will move inland over
Texas tonight or Tue. The northern extent of a tropical wave
will move into the SE Gulf on Tue, then move westward across the
central Gulf on Wed, and reach the NW Gulf on Thu. Increasing
winds and seas are possible in association with this system.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

The pressure gradient between high pressure north of the area
and low pressure over Colombia will maintain fresh to locally
strong trade winds over the south-central Caribbean this week.
Elsewhere, gentle to moderate trade winds will persist across
the region for the next several days. Expect increasing winds
and seas over the NE Caribbean toward the end of the week as
high pressure builds across the western Atlantic.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A ridge north of the area will support pulses of  fresh to
locally strong winds off Hispaniola and near the entrance to the
Windward Passage for the next several nights. Fresh winds will
prevail over the waters S of 25N through Tue as the northern
extend of a tropical wave moves westward across the region.
Winds and seas will increase E of 65W toward the end of the week
as  high pressure builds across the western Atlantic.
