Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A surface trough will pass over the eastern Gulf tonight into
Sat. Locally fresh winds are expected near the coast of the
Yucatan peninsula tonight. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate winds
and slight seas will prevail through early next week.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

The pressure gradient between high pressure north of the area
and climatological low pressure over Colombia will maintain
fresh to strong trade winds over the south-central Caribbean
through the middle of next week. Elsewhere, gentle to moderate
trade winds will prevail across the region.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A high pressure ridge north of the area will support  pulses of
fresh to strong winds off Hispaniola and near the  entrance to
the Windward Passage for the next couple of nights.  Winds and
seas may increase E of 65W Tue night through Wed night 
following the passage of a tropical wave.
