Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters during the next few days. 
Gentle to moderate easterly winds and slight seas are expected 
through Mon. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A tropical wave along 65W will move into the central Caribbean 
tonight. A second tropical wave along 44W will reach the Lesser 
Antilles by Fri night. Fresh to strong trades will continue over 
the south-central Caribbean through Fri, then expand in coverage 
this weekend as high pressure builds over the western Atlantic. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A weak surface trough extending into the central Bahamas will 
drift eastward today, then dissipate by tonight. Atlantic high 
pressure will build across the region by the end of the week. 
Fresh to occasionally strong easterly winds will pulse north of 
Hispaniola at night.
