A stationary front that extends from the Florida Big Bend across the central Gulf to near Tampico, Mexico will continue to weaken tonight and dissipate on Sat afternoon. Moderate to fresh northeast winds behind the front will diminish by Sat. Fresh to strong northwest winds will continue over the SW Gulf near the coast of Veracruz, Mexico tonight through Sat night. Weak high pressure will build over the northern Gulf early next week. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A western Caribbean tropical wave will move across Central America this weekend. Another tropical wave over the eastern Caribbean will move across the remainder of the eastern Caribbean and pass south of Puerto Rico today through Sat, then move across the central Caribbean later this weekend. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms east of the wave will gradually spread across the eastern Caribbean south of 16N through Sat. A third tropical wave east of the area near 50W will move across the Tropical N Atlantic waters Sat through Sun evening, then cross the Windward Islands Sun evening and move the eastern Caribbean Sun night through the middle of next week. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected with this wave. Otherwise, moderate to fresh trades over the central Caribbean will strengthen early next week and change little through the middle of the week as central Atlantic high pressure builds westward some. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...
