A former tropical wave moving across the NW Caribbean and Central America has been absorbed into a broad low pressure area, known as a Central American Gyre, persisting over northern Central America and southern Mexico. Winds and seas will increase in the Gulf of Honduras and off Yucatan through the end of the week as a result.
