High pres will start to build into the region Mon, and prevail through Fri. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... High pressure N of the area will support fresh to strong trade winds across the central Caribbean tonight. Gentle to moderate winds will prevail over most of the remainder of the basin. The aerial extent of the strong trades will decrease early on Mon, prevailing over the south-central Caribbean for the remainder period. Active weather, with numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue over the NW Caribbean tonight as a complex low just NE of the Yucatan Peninsula moves ENE across the SE Gulf of Mexico. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A stationary front extends from 28N65W to the straits of Florida. The front will gradually weaken through Mon. Low pressure in the SE Gulf of Mexico will move into the SW forecast waters tonight. There is the possibility with gales impacting the Central and northern waters associated to the low.
