A weak cold front extends from Fort Myers, Florida to 24N89W and to just south of Tampico, Mexico. The front will slowly move southward across the western Gulf while moving SE across the eastern Gulf tonight, then exit the area on Mon morning. Another cold front will move into the northern Gulf Wed afternoon, reach from the Florida Big Bend to near 25N90W and to near northeastern Mexico early Thu. The western part of the front will become stationary and weaken through late Thu night, while the rest of the front will weaken as it exits the SE Gulf Fri. Weak high pressure will build across the area in the wake of this front. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... High pressure extending from the central Atlantic to the NW Bahamas will maintain fresh to strong trade winds over the south-central Caribbean through Tue before weakening. Strong east to southeast winds will pulse at night over the Gulf of Honduras this weekend. A weak cold front will sink across W Cuba and the Yucatan Channel Mon through Mon night before dissipating Tue. Northerly subsiding sell will propagate through the Tropical N Atlantic through Mon. Smoke from agricultural fires in Central America could reduce visibility over the Gulf of Honduras for the next several days. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A weak cold front extends from 31N77W to Vero Beach, Florida, while a trough extends from near 30N75W to Palm Beach, Florida. Numerous strong to severe thunderstorms, with strong gusty winds and reduced visibilities, are over the waters from 25N to 30N and west of 69W. This activity will continue to quickly track northeastward into Mon. The front will reach from near 31N77W to Palm Beach this evening, then from near 31N70W to coast of NW Cuba Mon morning, before stalling and dissipating from 28N65W to Cuba along 80W Tue morning. High pressure behind the front will slide eastward along 31N. Yet another cold front will move off the southeastern U.S. coast and to the NW forecast waters Wed night into Thu preceded by fresh to strong southerly winds.
