Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front will reach the northern Gulf tonight, then stall
and weaken across the southern Gulf Fri night. Fresh to locally
strong NE winds are expected behind the front. Southerly winds 
will increase across the basin this weekend as a low pressure 
system tracks across the southern U.S, with strong winds possible
across much of the basin Sat night through Sun night. Another 
cold front will move into the NW Gulf Mon morning. Smoke from 
agricultural fires in southern Mexico may reduce visibility over 
the SW Gulf and Bay of Campeche. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pressure over the SW N Atlantic will support nightly pulses
of strong ENE winds near the coast of Colombia into the weekend.
Fresh winds will pulse over the Gulf of Honduras tonight, then 
pulse strong each night into the start of next week. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Strong SW winds are expected over northern waters through
tonight. A cold front will move across the region early Fri 
through Sun morning, with some strong NW winds possible behind it
over northern areas. Southerly winds will increase east of 
Florida late Sun through late Mon as a developing low pressure 
system moves off the eastern U.S.
