Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure centered near the Texas coast prevails across the
basin. Winds and seas will continue to diminish across the area 
today. A weak cold front will move across the NE Gulf tonight 
with fresh NW winds. High pressure will shift east of the Gulf on
Sun, and southerly return flow will increase over much of the 
Gulf early next week.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A cold front extends across the NW Caribbean from eastern Cuba to
northern Honduras. The front will shift eastward, then stall and
dissipated from Hispaniola to Costa Rica this weekend. Fresh to 
strong N to NE winds will prevail NW of the front through Sun,
including the Windward Passage. Strong winds are expected near
the coast of Colombia each night through early Wed.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front from near Bermuda to eastern Cuba will move eastward 
across the Atlantic through Mon night, then stall and weaken Tue.
Fresh to strong W to NW winds and seas to 11 ft are expected west
of the frontal boundary through Mon, with improving conditions 
expected by early next week.
