Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A surface trough across the NE Gulf from Tampa FL to New Orleans
LA will drift southward and dissipate through early Fri. A low 
pressure system will develop over the NW Gulf on Fri and extend a
cold front across the region through the weekend, resulting in 
increasing northerly winds and building seas across much of the 
basin through Sat night. Near gale force northerly winds will 
develop near the coast of Veracruz on Fri afternoon and continue 
through Fri night. High pressure will build across the northern 
Gulf Sat and Sun. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Weak high pressure north of the region will maintain gentle to
moderate trade winds over most of the Caribbean through tonight.
Strong to near gale force winds are expected near the coast of 
Colombia this weekend as high pressure builds north of the area. 
Winds and seas will increase across the NW Caribbean Sat night
and Sun as a cold front moves into the area. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A low pressure system east of northern Florida near 30N79W will 
track eastward across the northern waters through early Fri. A 
strong cold front will sweep across the region Sat through Sun, 
resulting in near gale force westerly winds and building seas 
across the northern waters on Sun.
