High pressure building in behind this front will support strong E winds and building seas over the eastern basin this afternoon through late Sat. A second cold front will reach the NW Gulf Sat evening, then extend from northern Florida to north of Veracruz Mexico by Sunday evening. This front should move SE of the Gulf by Mon evening. This front will also bring strong winds to most of the area, with near gale force winds in the SW Gulf Sun through early Tue morning. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... High pressure centered north of the Caribbean will continue to support gales off the coast of Colombia through at least Sun morning, with more gale force winds likely Sun night. Strong to near gale force winds can be expected in the NW Caribbean in the wake of a cold front into Sat. Similar conditions can be expectedin the NE Caribbean as the front passes Sat evening through Sun night.
