Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front stretching from southwest Florida to near 21.5N95W
then southward to the Mexican coast near 19N95.5W will move
southward and into NW Cuba and the northern Yucatan Peninsula by
this evening, and will south of the Gulf by Tue morning. High
pressure will build behind the front over the central Gulf of
Mexico late Tue and Wed, then shift east of the area Thu ahead
of the next cold front entering the northwest Gulf late Fri.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Low pres moving E and away from the United States east coast has
weakened the ridge N of the basin. Large N swell is dominating
the Atlantic waters and passing through the passages into the NE
Caribbean today and will diminish by Tue night. A cold front
will enter the NW Caribbean tonight, then weaken and dissipate
as it moves SE and reaches from eastern Cuba to northeast
Nicaragua by Wed night. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front moving off the northeast Florida coast  will reach
from Bermuda to central Cuba early Tue, then stall from 25N65W
to eastern Cuba by early Wed before dissipating Thu. Winds to
gale force will accompany the front over waters north of 29N
through tonight. Meanwhile large, long-period N swell  spreading
S across the Atlc waters will slowly subside through  Tue.
