A strong cold front reach the NW Gulf late tonight, and reach the Bay of Campeche Fri night, west gale force winds west of the front near the coast of Mexico Fri into early Saturday. Elongated low pressure organizing over the Bay of Campeche this afternoon. This system has a medium chance of becoming a tropical cyclone tonight or Friday, before it merges with the cold front. This low is producing widespread showers and thunderstorms over the western Gulf. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Moderate trade winds are expected across most of the Caribbean through Mon night. A weak tropical wave over and south of Hispaniola will move west into the western Caribbean by Fri night.
