Otherwise, weak high pressure will remain over the northeast gulf through early next week, supporting mainly light to gentle variable winds east of 90W. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... Fresh to strong east to southeast winds will pulse over the Gulf of Honduras at night through Tue. The areal coverage of fresh to strong trade winds in the south-central Caribbean will increase over the weekend and extend to the SW waters by early next week as a tropical wave moves from the eastern to the central basin. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A weak area of low pressure centered between the southeastern coast of Florida and Andros Island will continue to support scattered showers and thunderstorms over the waters W of 72W the next few days. The low is forecast to move near or over Florida later today, then back offshore near the coast of east- central Florida over the weekend or early next week. Environmental conditions appear conducive for tropical cyclone development once the system moves back over the Atlantic waters.
