Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Weak high pressure will remain across the central Gulf allowing
for gentle to moderate winds and relatively low seas throughout 
the period. Moderate to fresh winds will continue to pulse each 
evening through the early morning hours near and to the northwest
of the Yucatan Peninsula in association with a local trough. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A tropical wave along 81W will reach Central America later today.
An active tropical wave moving across the Lesser Antilles this 
morning will cross the Caribbean through Sun night, accompanied 
by widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms. Strong easterly
winds are expected near the coast of Colombia Sat night and Sun.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A ridge extending west along roughly 28N will persist through 
the weekend. The gradient between the ridge and a tropical wave
moving westward across the Caribbean Sea will support moderate to
fresh trade winds mainly across the waters S of 22N through Sun.
An area of showers and thunderstorms NE of Puerto Rico will move
northward along the western periphery of the ridge over the next
few days. Winds and seas could be higher near thunderstorms.
