Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A weak cold front will move into the northern half of the Gulf 
of Mexico today, then stall from the Florida Big Bend to Corpus 
Christi tonight, and dissipate through Wed night. Moderate to 
fresh winds will follow the front. A surface trough will move 
off the Yucatan Peninsula at night, supporting fresh to 
occasionally strong winds in the eastern Bay of Campeche. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pressure north of the area will continue to support fresh 
to strong trade winds in the south-central Caribbean through Fri,
becoming near gale force along the coast of Colombia at night. 
The high will strengthen on Thu, with winds increasing south of 
Hispaniola and in the Windward Passage. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

Tropical Depression Three near 26.1N 79.3W 1013 mb at 11 PM EDT
moving NW at 9 kt. Maximum sustained winds 25 kt gusts 35 kt. 
It will move northward today ahead of an approaching deep-layer
trough moving across the eastern United States, with little
change in intensity. Highest winds will remain E of the center.
A surface trough will move into the NW waters Thu, then linger 
through the remainder of the week.
