Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Weak high pressure will dominate the region through the weekend,
with gentle to moderate winds across the Gulf. A trough will
develop over Yucatan in the afternoon and move westward into the
Bay of Campeche each evening, bringing a brief period of fresh
to locally strong winds to the S central Gulf.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A tropical wave moving into the Caribbean today will strengthen
the trades across most of the basin through Sat as it passes
across the forecast area, then reach Central America Sun. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A surface trough from 31N62W to 25N75W will slowly  dissipate
through Fri. High pressure will build N of 28N through  Fri
night, and persist into the weekend. Fresh to strong winds are
expected N of Hispaniola Fri and Sat as a tropical wave moves 
through the central Caribbean.
