Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Weak high pressure will dominate the Gulf of Mexico through the 
upcoming weekend, resulting in gentle to moderate winds across 
the region. A trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each
day and move across the Bay of Campeche during the evening, 
bringing fresh to strong winds to the SW Gulf through Thu night.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

The gradient between high pressure in the central Atlantic and 
low pressure over Colombia will support strong to near gale force
winds each night off the coast of Colombia and in the Gulf of 
Venezuela through Sat. Moderate to fresh trades will prevail 
elsewhere across the Caribbean for the next several days. A 
tropical wave will move across the Lesser Antilles and eastern 
Caribbean Thu through Fri, then move into the central Caribbean 
Fri night, accompanied by gusty winds and rough seas.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A stationary front north of 29N between 60W and 75W will slowly
dissipate today. High pressure will build over northern waters 
Thu through Fri night, and persist through the weekend. Fresh to
strong winds are expected north of Hispaniola Fri and Sat.
