Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Moderate southeast to south winds associated with an Atlantic 
ridge extending eastward into the Gulf will prevail across the 
basin through Thursday.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pressure north of the area will support strong trade winds
in the south-central Caribbean today and tonight. High pressure 
will build in the Atlantic Monday and Tuesday, allowing winds to
increase to near gale force near Colombia. Maximum seas will 
build to 13-14 ft. Fresh to strong winds are also expected to 
pulse in the Gulf of Honduras at night.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A surface trough will move slowly east of Florida Tuesday and
Wednesday. Elsewhere, a ridge will dominate the SW N Atlantic 
through Thu as high pressure builds across the central Atlantic.
