Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A stationary front from the Florida Big Bend to Brownsville
Texas will linger across the north Gulf through Thu, then
dissipate. A second front will move into the northern Gulf Fri
and stall, then lift north of the area through Sat. Winds will
increase in the western Gulf as high pressure builds across the
area through Sun.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pressure north of the area will support strong to near gale
force trade winds in the south central Caribbean through Sat,
with moderate to locally fresh trades elsewhere.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A ridge along 26N is maintaining gentle to moderate  southerly
breezes across the region. The ridge will weaken and shift east
through Fri ahead of a cold front moving off the southeast U.S.
coast Thu night. The front will move east across the waters
north of 30N through Sat. High pressure will build north of the
area in the wake of the front through Sun.
