Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A broad low pressure area over the southern U.S. will maintain
moderate southwest to west winds across the NE and north-central
Gulf through Sun. A weak cold front in the NW Gulf will stall
and weaken in the north-central Gulf overnight. A stronger cold
front will move across the NW Gulf Mon, then weaken in the
northern Gulf Tue and Wed. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A weak ridge north of the area will support moderate to locally
fresh trade winds across most of the Caribbean during the next
several days. Fresh to strong trades are expected in the
south-central Caribbean through Wed night, with building seas.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A ridge will remain over the southern part of the  area through
Wed, while low pressure remains over the  southeastern U.S. this
weekend. Moderate southerly winds are expected across the area
the next few days.
