Relatively weak high pressure across the region will allow for moderate to fresh east to southeast winds to continue across the forecast area through Sun, except for fresh to strong winds over sections of the central Gulf through early Thu afternon. A weak cold front is expected to begin to move across the far northern sections of the NW and north-central Gulf Sun night and Mon, with little impact on winds and seas. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible along and near this front. A trough will develop each night over the Yucatan Peninsula, and support pulses of fresh to locally strong winds in the south central Gulf at night as it weakens while migrating westward across the SW Gulf in the mornings. Smoke and haze from ongoing agricultural fires in Mexico, as being observed in satellite imagery and reported by land observations near the coast, could reduce visibilities in the western Gulf and the Bay of Campeche over the next few days. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W...
