Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A cold front will move into the NW corner on Thursday morning.
High pressure across the area, already in place, will retreat
eastward. The front will reach the far eastern Gulf of Mexico by
Friday evening. It will become stationary, and weaken to a
trough on Saturday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are
expected with this frontal system. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Fresh to strong NE winds along the coast of Colombia, from
Wednesday night until Thursday morning, and from Thursday
afternoon until Friday morning. Moderate to fresh trade winds
elsewhere, will diminish slowly, as high pressure north of the
area weakens.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A surface trough, from 31N66W to 26N70W to 22N72W  will
dissipate gradually today. The next cold front will move off the
southeastern United States coast on Friday night/Saturday
morning. Strong S winds to the E of the front and strong W to NW
winds to the west of the front, from 27N northward. Scattered 
showers and thunderstorms, some with gusty winds, are expected
to affect much of the area north of 27N from Friday through late
 Saturday.
