Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure across the area will retreat eastward ahead of a 
cold front moving into the northwest Gulf Thu. The front will 
reach the far eastern Gulf by Fri evening, where it will become 
stationary and weaken to a trough Sat. Scattered showers and 
thunderstorms are expected with this frontal system. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Moderate to fresh trade winds across the south central and 
eastern Caribbean will slowly diminish as high pressure north of
the area weakens. A cold front may move into the northwestern 
Caribbean from the Gulf of Mexico by the end of the week into 
next weekend. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A surface trough from near 31N67W to 24N71W will gradually 
dissipate today. The next cold front will move off the 
southeastern United States coast by Sat. Scattered showers and 
thunderstorms, some with gusty winds, are expected to affect much
of the area north of 27N Fri through late Sat.
