Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pres will prevail across the forecast waters through
midweek before retreating eastward. This will enable a cold
front to move into the NW Gulf on Thu, pushing across the basin
through Fri night.  

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A surface trough from central Cuba to SW of Grand Cayman will
dissipate through tonight. High pres over the central Atlantic
will maintain pulses of strong winds off Colombia and moderate
to fresh trade winds elsewhere into mid week. Trade winds will
slowly diminish thereafter as the high pres dissipates. A cold
front may move into the NW Caribbean from the Gulf of Mexico by
the end of the week into next weekend.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A mostly stationary front from 31N72W through the  central
Bahamas into central Cuba will gradually dissipate through Mon,
with remnants lingering through mid week. NE swell will 
propagate into the waters N of the Virgin Islands through the 
early part of the week. The next cold front may move off NE 
Florida by the very end of the week into next weekend.
