High pressure is building across the western Gulf in the wake of a cold front that moved through the region overnight. Residual seas over the eastern Gulf will subside through tonight accordingly. The high pressure will shift east through Sun, allowing fresh SE return flow over the western Gulf through early next week. ...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN 55W AND 64W... A stationary front over the far NW Caribbean will will dissipate Sun. Moderate to fresh trade winds will prevail across the Caribbean and tropical N Atlantic, with the exception of strong breeze NE winds N of Colombia. Trades will slowly diminish through Wed night. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A cold front extends from 31N76W through the northern Bahamas to northwest Cuba. Strong southerly winds reaching minimal gale force ahead of the front north of the Bahamas will weaken through early afternoon.
