Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A persistent synoptic pattern highlighted by a ridge of high 
pressure extending along 30N from the Atlantic into the northern
Gulf will maintain moderate to fresh southeasterly winds across 
most of the basin through the weekend.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

Moderate to fresh trade winds will prevail across most of the
area through the weekend as high pressure N of the area shifts 
eastward and weakens. Fresh to strong winds are possible near the
Windward Passage each night, and across the Gulf of Honduras 
this weekend.

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

High pressure will prevail across the area through Sun night. 
A surface trough will persist northeast of the Turks and Caicos 
through Fri. Strong high pressure will build NE of the area 
behind a cold front in the central Atlantic this weekend.
