Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure across the northern Gulf will shift east Sat ahead
of a cold front moving off the Texas coast Sat night. Fresh to 
strong northerly winds will follow the front Sun over the western
Gulf, possibly reaching gale force over the western Gulf waters 
from Tampico to Veracruz Sun night. Winds and seas will gradually
diminish through early next week as the front shifts southeast 
of the area. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

A stationary front reaching from southern Haiti to near 15N79W 
will dissipate by tonight. Winds over the south central Caribbean
will range between moderate and fresh through the middle of next
week. Otherwise, generally moderate trade winds will persist 
across the Caribbean and tropical Atlantic west of 55W through 
the middle of next week. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front extends from 1015 mb low pressure centered near 
29N65W to 25N65W to 20N68W...then continues as a weakening cold 
front to the northern coast of the Dominican Republic near 
19N70W. This frontal boundary will stall and weaken through Sat 
as the low continues to lift northeastward away from the area. 
High pressure will build off the U.S. east coast through Sun, 
then continue E ahead of the next cold front expected to move off
the NE Florida coast early next week.
