A cold front extending from eastern Cuba to the Gulf of Honduras is allowing for a relaxed pressure gradient in the south-central Caribbean. However, fresh to strong winds are expected to pulse at night within 90 nm off the coast of Colombia through Fri night. The cold front will drift SE today and tonight while gradually dissipating. Gentle to moderate winds will dominate across the remainder of the basin through Sun. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A frontal boundary extends from 30N65W to a 1011 mb low pressure centered near 29N68W then continues SW to another 1013 mb low pressure located near the central Bahamas to eastern Cuba. This front will remain nearly stationary today and tonight. Then, a reinforcing cold front will merge with the stationary front on Fri, and the merged front will extends from 27N65W to the Turks and Caicos Islands and eastern Cuba by Fri night. Swell generated by these fronts will dominate the waters E of the Bahamas through the upcoming weekend.
