Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

Strong high pressure centered over the U.S. great plains extends
a ridge southward over the entire gulf. A frontal boundary SE of
the area will gradually lift northward into Straits of Florida 
and the Gulf of Mexico this weekend. On Sunday, low pressure is
expected to develop along the frontal boundary in the SW Gulf, 
then move ENE toward Florida and the SW N Atlantic on Mon. Gale 
conditions are possible in the SW Gulf on Sun. High pressure will
rebuild across the region behind the exiting low early next week.
Another cold front will enter the Gulf on Tue.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pressure north of the area will support fresh to locally
strong NE to E winds over much of the Caribbean through Sun 
night. A stationary front extending from western Cuba to Belize 
lift northward into the Straits of Florida and the Gulf of 
Mexico on Sun. 

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A cold front extends from 31N74W across the Florida Keys to
western Cuba. The front will reach from 31N68W to central Cuba 
Sat morning, then become nearly stationary on Sun. A weak low 
pressure area may form along the front over the Bahamas Mon and 
move northeast.
